Dr. Spiegel will be presenting on ways parents can identify their child’s healthy and problematic responses to anxiety. This talk will help parents recognize stressors and other factors that might be contributing to their child’s challenges. Parents will come away with new ways to promote better habits and support their child’s sense of resiliency. Dr. Jesse Spiegel is a licensed clinical psychologist treating children, adolescents, and adults. He works in private practice in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, where he specializes in treating OCD, anxiety, insomnia, and behavior-related problems.

Carrie Crossman is a Stress Resilience Specialist and a member of the Park Century School board. As a Stress Resilience Specialist, she teaches the inner skills necessary to effectively regulate the impact of stress and negative emotions. This inner regulation creates a positive feedback loop of resiliency, allowing parents to feel better, show up as their best selves, and help those around them to do the same.
