Annual Fund
A culture of generosity strengthens our community
Gifts to the Park Century Fund have an immediate impact on the day-to-day vibrancy of our school. We are deeply grateful for the support of our families.
What is The Park Century Fund?
Tuition alone accounts for approximately 80% of Park Century’s revenue each school year. Our community’s support and generosity allow our students to enjoy a complete, meaningful, and memorable educational experience.
We ask for your participation in the Park Century Fund in an effort to keep tuition costs down, which will allow more students to take advantage of what Park Century has to offer.
The Park Century Fund supports the people and programs across the school, including:
- The purchase of new and always-changing evidence-based curriculums
- Park Century’s faculty and their professional development
- Launching new programs, such as a Kindergarten offering in 2023
- Financial aid for students who would not otherwise be able to attend Park Century
- Enhanced technology
- Art classes, athletics, and school events
- Open Houses and other activities to heighten awareness about PCS and the opportunities we offer to children

Other ways to give
Venmo
So quick and easy. Simply go to your Venmo account on your phone or mobile device and search for @ParkCenturySchool. Our account contains the school logo, and if it asks to verify the correct account with a phone number, use the main school number of 310-979-2184. Our Development Department will be notified of your contribution immediately.
Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
Contributions can be made from a Donor Advised Fund. DAFs allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive a tax deduction, and make donations from the fund over time. Donors can contribute to the DAF as frequently as they like and then recommend contributions to their favorite non-profit organization.
Appreciated Securities
Donating appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares) held for at least a year and a day is a tax-advantaged way to make a gift and can be done easily. You will be entitled to a charitable deduction on the fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift, and you will not incur any capital gains tax on the appreciation.
To ensure proper recording of stock gifts, please contact the Development Office by clicking here or calling 310-979-2184 for instructions.

FAQ
How much should I contribute?
We hope that everyone in the PCS Community recognizes the school as one of their top philanthropic priorities. Gifts to Park Century range from $5 to over $50,000. We encourage our families to consider giving at the Leadership Level of $5,000 or more if they are able.
When should I contribute?
The earlier that we receive your gift, the earlier we can put it to work for our students! We encourage all families to make their pledges by December 31st, although contributions are accepted through the end of each school year.
Is Park Century eligible for Employer Matching Gifts?
Yes! Please ask your Human Resources department about a matching gift program, or feel free to contact the Park Century Development Department and we can do the research for you. It’s often as simple as filling out a one-page form, and it can result in doubling, or sometimes tripling, your gift to PCS.
