Applying to Park Century
Picture your child thriving as they should
During their time at Park Century, students become self-confident, independent learners who can advocate for their own needs.
Thank you for your interest in our school. Park Century serves neurodivergent students in grades K–8 with diagnosed language-based learning differences such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and ADHD. Park Century students may also struggle with processing information as well as have challenges with executive functioning.
Our faculty and staff provide a customized program in a safe and nurturing environment. Each student is encouraged to focus on their individual needs, develop their strengths, and cultivate their passions.
I look forward to learning more about your child’s needs and answering any questions you may have.
Warmly,
Cindy Goodman
Director of Admission

We can’t wait to meet your family
We are currently accepting applications for the 2024–2025 school year. Please contact Cindy Goodman, our Director of Admission, at cgoodman@parkcenturyschool.org.
Park Century has a selective admissions process. Our goal is to determine the best academic program for your child. Neuropsychological testing is an important part of the admissions process and will guide you in your journey to find the best educational placement for your child.
Park Century offers rolling admissions, and there is no application deadline. Admission decisions are made based on available space once it has been determined that your child is a match for PCS’ expertise and curriculum.
Park Century School does not discriminate based on race, culture, religion, age, national origin, disability status, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
Our admissions process
The admissions process begins with an inquiry via our website, by phone, or by joining us on campus for an Open House event.
Following your inquiry, a school tour with the Director of Admission will be scheduled. During the tour, you can hear more about our school’s history, philosophy, mission, and programs. You will have an opportunity to see students in their classrooms and learn about the next steps in the admission process.
You can begin the application process here. Applications must be submitted with the following:
- For students in grades 2–8, current neuropsychological testing or IEP. Cognitive testing must be included. Testing is not required for students entering Kindergarten or 1st grade. Testing must have been administered within the past three years*
- All educational records and reports
- Recommendation forms from the current school and any outside providers
- Other pertinent information could include speech and language evaluations, tutoring or educational therapy reports, and any relevant medical information such as optometry or audiology reports
- Application fee of $220
*If you are submitting an IEP, you must also submit the psychoeducational testing that was done when the IEP was initiated or from the most recent triennial review. If a WISC-V was not administered as part of the testing, you might be required to have one done as part of the admissions process.
The Admission Team will review your child’s materials, and schedule an informal interview with the Director of Admission and grade-level Dean if we believe Park Century is the right school for them.
Parent(s)/guardian(s) will join the student during this portion of the admission process. The interview is an opportunity for our Admission Team to get to know your child and for your child to become familiar with the campus.
Students may be invited back to Park Century for a shadow visit after the interview if appropriate. A shadow visit is an opportunity for prospective students to spend the day at the school. Shadow students are paired with a buddy who will guide them throughout the day. The shadow day allows teachers to learn more about the prospective student and their individual needs, and provide feedback to the Admission Team. Special care is taken to ease anxiety and create a welcoming atmosphere for all of our visiting students. Students may shadow for one or two days.
At this time, it will be essential to ensure all additional forms required for admission have been sent to all parties to complete and return directly to Park Century. Recommendation forms will only be accepted if sent directly from the provider to Park Century. These forms can be found when completing the application and on our website under the admissions tab.
Once the student has completed all portions of the admission process and all required forms have been received by Park Century, the Admission Team will meet to review the file. During this meeting, the team will discuss if Park Century has the appropriate program plan to meet the student’s academic and social-emotional needs.
If an enrollment contract is offered, the family will be notified via email. Students are accepted to Park Century on a rolling basis, as space permits, and therefore, can start at various points throughout the school year. Tuition is prorated accordingly.
