TECHNOLOGY – FAMILY SOCIAL STANDARDS
Presenter: PCS Staff

We will discuss the importance of creating standards for tech use and understanding how tech use affects many different areas of our lives.  During this whole-family workshop, family members will collaborate to complete the Family Social Standards Agreement.  Standards are goals that empower people to set the bar high and hold each other accountable.

SETTING APPROPRIATE BOUNDARIES
Presenter: Elizabeth Karp, Ph.D.

Dr. Karp works collaboratively with parents to provide clear, individualized, evidence-based coaching for parents of children with ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, or other challenging behaviors. Dr. Karp uses behavioral parent training strategies including parent management training and supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions (SPACE) to create an individualized plan that will help parents to feel empowered to help their child be resilient, independent, and successful.  Dr. Karp will provide concrete strategies to help parents establish appropriate boundaries and structure at home.
