Masako King is a second-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. Masako will support students in grades K–5, focusing on teaching engaging and practical strategies for emotional regulation and helping students recognize both familiar and new feeling words. A lifelong California resident, she appreciates nature, enjoys pop music, and has a guilty pleasure for Japanese rock music. Working at Park Century School has been a long-time dream for her, as she has spent the past three years supporting neurodivergent children. Masako enjoys collaborating in school settings and is excited to deepen her understanding of the various assessments used to ensure every child receives a personalized education.
