During this Parent Education Series, members of our Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language, Vision, and Counseling/SEL teams will provide a brief, practical overview of their roles within our school community. Each specialist will explain how their area of expertise integrates into students’ educational programs, how these supports can impact day-to-day school functioning, and the services and strategies available to students.

5-Day Edwards Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator Course
We are excited to share that our very own Robyn Kramer, Orton-Gillingham Fellow-in-Training and a certified Structured Literacy & Dyslexia Therapist, led a 5-Day Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator Course at our school, in collaboration with Edwards Orton-Gillingham. This EOG Level 1 Park Century School LA Cohort offered a comprehensive introduction to the Orton-Gillingham Approach, providing participants with expert instruction and hands-on practice. You’ll learn essential components of structured literacy, including phonological awareness, sound-symbol relationships, decoding, and reading fluency. This course is designed for classroom teachers, interventionists, and special educators, aligning with dyslexia legislation and early literacy requirements.
