Nora Rentt was born and raised in New York. She attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she received her B.A. in Education and became certified to teach both special and elementary education. After graduation, she moved back to New York and worked as a special education teacher in the public school system while getting her M.S. in Special Education at Long Island University, C.W. Post College. After five years of teaching there, Nora left the cold weather in New York, moved to sunny Santa Monica, and began working at Park Century School. This is her 35th year teaching the oldest class at Park Century.
